In order to celebrate the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ campaign launched by the Government of India, the program of Rangoli and painting competition on the theme ‘Freedom of India’ was organized by Prajapita Brahmakumari Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya, Sangvi Center in Pune under the Department of “Arts and Culture”.
The following VIPs including Rajyogini BK Sanjeevani Didi, the operator of Prajapita Brahmakumari Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya Sangvi Center, BK Amit Bhai, and BK Shubhangi Didi were present.
- Mrs. Usha Dhore (Mai Dhore) – Mayor, PCMC
- Mrs. Sharda Sonawane – Corporator, PCMC
- Mrs. Kranti Bankar – Professional painter honored in national and international painting competitions.
The program was held on February 27, 2022, from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm at Ahilyabai Holkar School of Juni Sangvi, Pune.
BK Shubhangi Didi while conducting the program gave information about various projects and activities going on throughout the year under the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ campaign.
Mrs. Kranti Bankar was invited as an examiner to evaluate the drawings and Rangoli designs. She declared three winners out of 23 participants in both Rangoli and Painting.
PCMC Mayor Smt. Mai Dhore said that BK Sanjeevani Didi of Prajapita Brahmakumari Vishwavidyalaya, Sangvi Kendra, is playing a very important role in making India a powerful country. She also appreciated the initiative taken by the Brahma Kumaris towards giving Sakash of peace to the brothers and sisters in Ukraine.
PCMC Corporator Smt. Sharda Sonawane also addressed all the women to learn and get benefited through Raja Yoga meditation.
A participation certificate was given to all the participants. Prize distribution and certificate distribution were done by our chief guest Mayor Mrs. Mai Dhore. The program ended with the distribution of toli (prasad) to all.
